easternbloc is a website owned by the author Ben Marvell. He uses it to talk about all things geek and web related. His main interests are User Interface Development, Javascript, jQuery, Trainers and Camo.

Ben got in touch as he needed a new site designing which had a 'London' feel to it. Of course this could have meant anything depending on what bit of London we're talking about. Initially a 'grunge' styling was used to bring a low down, gritty feel. After numerous revisions of the design a final 'gritty' concept was produced. The production stage was looming, but then Ben saw a vector concept I had produced a few months back...

This led to a change of heart and a new concept was produced using the vector styling. Again after numerous revisions due to Ben's 'vision' (and I don't mean a gammy eye), the final vector concept was completed which is now in production.

No other concepts have been shown to Ben since.
