Consol Partners got in contact after being frustrated with the quotes they received from other design agencies. They required a small site that had specific features and a certain styling, but couldn't get a quote that matched this. After consulting with Consol Partners a quote was produced that matched all their requirements, and kept within their budget.

The concept stage was pretty straight forward as Consol Partners knew the graphical styling they wanted. A clean, simple and people focused design that got straight to the point. Consol Partners already had a list of stock imagery that they wanted to use which helped the design process progress at a swifter rate. Some of the stock imagery was further modified to match the design, and with them all being vector illustrations this process was carried out very quickly.

The initial concept produced was a bit too strong in the colour department, hence a second version was produced using a simpler colour palette. This design after a few modifications was given the go ahead. Once development had started, Consol requested a few alternative backgrounds which were produced during the development time. An "open" background was chosen, which helped give the site a fresher feel.

The website is likely to be expanded upon during 2008, as well as the possibility of future projects between the two companies.
