Being spoofed right now. Very annoying. Anyone who receives an email from a circa82.co.uk address: it’s junk unless it comes from michael.austin. Hopefully it’s a one off, but with spoofing I don’t think there’s a way of me actually stopping it, as it’s easy to do in a lot of email clients. Tell me if I’m wrong

We came across a problem today where 123-reg wouldn’t allow us to update the nameservers for a clients domain. The error “*nameserver* doesn’t exist in the registry” would always appear. Previously we hadn’t any problems with updating the nameservers in 123-reg, so it was a bit perplexing. The nameservers were our own which pointed towards our latest rig.
After a bit of fooling around, we came to the conclusion it must be something to do with the clients domain being .com and our nameservers being .co.uk. After doing a bit more research we found a possible solution, albeit one that we didn’t think would work.
The Solution: We updated the nameservers for an alternative .com domain that was hosted with NameCheap. Once this had been done we gave 123-Reg another try. Lo and Behold 123’s system allowed us to update the nameservers for the previously problematic domain. From what other people have been saying this will work when using either NameCheap or GoDaddy (and possibly others).

PC Wisdom (John Wiley)
Protein Science (John Wiley)
Specific Environments
The sites produced for Wiley have been integrated into a CMS by one of their teams (since the work was carried out), so there are a few things that display differently in both layout and design.

Another great website shuts its doors due to the record labels being narrow minded. I found, viewed and enjoyed some great bands on that site. I bought CD’s and went to gigs for bands I didn’t know just from watching the live performances on FabChannel as the streams were very good quality. Finding some decent live bands has just got a little bit harder :/
